As Lead Service Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of local service managers, with ownership of supporting processes, tooling and procedures needed to manage the delivery of services to the Electrocomponents business. In addition, this role is responsible for the monitoring, control and service delivery of IT Technology services; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed.
Reporting to the Head of Services Operations and Transition you will join their Exciting Corby Team. This is a great opportunity to take ownership for the performance of the Service Managers, as well as mentor, develop and coach staff.

What You Will Enjoy Doing To Be Successful In This Role
You will drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes and manage the demand that has a direct impact on their IT services. These include escalation between IT Operations, 3rd Party Support teams and Service Support teams and all other Technology and Innovation teams (IT Delivery, Business Change). Engagement and relationship management with business and service key stakeholders. Participate in Vendor Service Reviews were applicable. Review and report on the services with business stakeholders. Collaborate with Business Change, Vendors and Technology teams to ensure new applications or changes to existing services are transitioned into support successfully.
What Will You Bring To the Role
- Experienced Service Management professional
- Previous experience as a Team Lead or demonstrable experience in leading virtual teams.
- Experience of managing 3rd parties and 3rd party delivered services.
- Expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Expert in service management processes and tools including supporting teams with the adoption of these items.
- Experience and understanding of project methodologies including Agile and waterfall, with formal qualifications an advantage.
- Excellent presentation skills
