Job Title – Global Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst (10-month maternity cover)

Location – Corby (NN17 5JF)

Global Commercial Pricing & Analytics is a newly formed team with the aim to improve profitability for the business by supporting the Sales forces optimising the way we do business with our Customers.

The role is responsible for implementing the Commercial Pricing Framework relating to the Price/Discounting Strategy, management of a commercial ‘toolkit’ to assist in effective margin management, effective and regular communication with all the stakeholders and regular review of commercial agreements.

Reporting to the Global Head of Commercial Pricing & Analytics, you will be a part of an organization that promotes personal development, growth, and career progression and who will provide you with the tools and training you need to excel in the industry.

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role

  • You will be customer focussed with an in-depth understanding of customer structure and buying behaviours
  • Implementing the Hub’s pricing compliance strategy
  • Maximising profit by reviewing discounts and customer contracts
  • Challenging and reviewing of discounting deals
  • Supporting the creation and development of a compliance operating rhythm
  • Developing new, more targeted and efficient discounting methodologies
  • Supporting the strategic pricing tool project and integration of discounts management within the tools capabilities
  • You will have strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Regular, efficient and effective communications between pricing, pricing compliance, sales effectiveness and sales forces globally
  • You will be a strong innovator with ability to drive vision and development of tools and strategies

What you will need to be successful in this position:

  • Solid pricing or sales experience
  • Financial / Analytical experience preferable
  • Ability to shape and implement discount strategies
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Strong Influencing and relationship management skills
  • Highly proficient in data extraction,
  • Statistical Analysis and / or Data Science manipulation and extensive knowledge of Access or SPSS, Excel, Visualisation, BW and SAP
